EVP High Flow Intake (HFI) Kit for Can-Am Maverick R
Share
Enhancing the performance of your Can-Am Maverick R is now more attainable with Evolution Powersports' (EVP) High Flow Intake (HFI) Kit. Designed to address the limitations of the stock intake system, this upgrade offers significant horsepower gains and improved engine efficiency.
Why Upgrade?
The factory-installed Donaldson-style airbox, while functional, imposes restrictions that can hinder your vehicle's performance. The short intake tube connecting the airbox to the turbocharger doesn't adequately smooth the airflow, leading to reduced efficiency and potential power loss. As you enhance your engine with tuning or elevate the rev limits, a free-flowing intake system becomes crucial. EVP's HFI Kit addresses these challenges, delivering up to 23 wheel horsepower (WHP) over the stock airbox at 9000 RPMs when paired with their X85 DCT+ tune.
Key Features
-
Optimized Airflow Placement: The HFI filter is strategically positioned in the high-pressure zone of the OEM intercooler ducting, ensuring efficient airflow. It's compatible with both the firewall-vented intercooler ducting and the OEM roof scoop.
-
Enhanced Compatibility: Tested to fit seamlessly with the stock turbocharger, the HFI Kit is also ready for the forthcoming P47 turbo upgrade for the Maverick R.
-
Superior Filtration: Manufactured in the USA, the filter boasts twice the filtration media compared to the OEM filter, ensuring cleaner air intake and better engine protection.
-
Integrated Ram Air Venturi System: This feature provides smooth airflow to the turbocharger, enhancing its efficiency and contributing to overall performance gains.
-
Durable Construction: The oversized, wire-reinforced silicone connector hose maintains its shape under rigorous conditions, ensuring longevity and consistent performance.

Performance Gains
It's important to note that the impressive gains of up to 23 WHP were achieved on a race version of EVP's X85 tune, featuring raised rev limits and higher shift points. The test vehicle was also equipped with a full EVP exhaust system.
